Our promise: professional and patient-centered care.

What sets us apart.

Our patients are at the center - really!

After working in a hospital setting for a long time and seeing the limited ability to focus on specific patients and provide intentional care, we set out to serve ventilator depended clients by providing a place to receive immaculate care.

Family-owned and operated, our experienced staff excel at their level, to serve each patient based on their carefully devised plan. Working together as a team for years allowed us to really be in sync when it comes to sharing various patient care roles.

Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, our facility is placed in a peaceful and private area, just 20 minutes away from PeaceHealth and Legacy Hospitals in Vancouver, WA. Five acres of land provides serene views, as well as an ample amount of parking spots for family members to visit.

You would not want to miss our high-quality diet, consisting of organic ingredients prepared by our professional chefs! Tailored specifically towards each member’s diet plan, we’ll make sure to amaze you with every single meal.

We believe that music was created to heal and restore. That’s why we incorporate music therapy time with our patients on a regular basis in order to provide an opportunity for reflection, community building, and restoration.

And did we mention that our spa services include regular manicures and pedicures, as well as professional barber visits, all included in the resident price.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are a private duty nurse (PDN) adult family home (AFH). This means we take residents that are ventilator dependent. Our staff was specifically chosen to consist of people with skill sets to better help ventilator dependent clientele. Ventilator dependent residents have specific needs which includes but is not limited to helping them with their airway management, tube feeds and special dietary needs, bowel regime, catheter and ostomy care, complicated wound care, mobility and skin care needs.

  • There is a musician that comes once a month. We have found that most of our residents find this is their favorite activity. There are also plenty of games available: bingo, monopoly, checkers, chess. Also included are arts and crafts - making seasonal decor and holiday cards, drawing and coloring. Lastly (and our favorite) are movie days! We choose some favorites and provide plenty of snacks from the classical popcorn and soda to fruit and veggies trays to smoothies (whatever we can do to work around our resident’s diets and make their experience enjoyable).

  • With views like that we try to provide as much outdoor time as possible. The residents can choose either the front porch which is fully covered or back deck. We also set up a small table nearby so that they can have their items next to them (phone, book, snacks) and make sure they are warm and comfortable. Our residents have often commented that they enjoy seeing a variety of birds, butterflies and squirrels on the grounds of our facility. Depending on the season, they can also enjoy seeing all the flowers bloom and in the fall leaves change colors.

  • Our in house chef works with all dietary preferences and needs to make sure that every resident gets delicious meals made just for them. Nutrition is a vital part of health and healing, which means it is a top priority for us as well. Whether it’s an allergy, food preference, special diets ordered by physician or just a request we work with each resident on an individual basis.

  • Yes! That includes clothing, towels and bedding. We wash, dry and iron if needed.

  • Visiting hours are from 9 am to 6 pm but this is subject to change depending on state and department of health regulations and guidelines.

  • We are STRICTLY a non-smoking facility (including facility grounds). This includes cigarettes, cigars, vaping, chew/snuff, etc.

  • Due to the unique medical needs that our medical patients have, we do not allow pets inside our facility. Pets are only allowed for outside visits.

  • We always have a registered nurse, respiratory therapist and caregiver on site at all times. Besides that we have a second registered nurse on call at all times in case one of the residents needs more one on one care or if we have a new resident move in. Safety of our residents and staff is our number one priority!

  • We have top quality care items from Tena (wipes, barrier ointments, briefs) but will accommodate resident preferences as much as possible. We also have some of the best reclining shower chairs, ceiling lifts, hoyers, commodes, and wheelchairs that are on the market. This helps ease any discomfort that a resident might experience with transfers and mobility.

In addition to that, we have a licensed barber and a nail technician come in once a month. The resident can choose to have their hair cut and styled. And the nail technician provides manicures and pedicures including a massage and color. Our diabetic clients get their foot care done by a registered nurse but can choose to have their nails colored by the nail technician.

Best of all are the birthday and holiday celebrations! We decorate and set up the dining room, cook a meal for the resident’s guests and celebrate the birthday person. It brings us great joy to see our residents happy and healthy!
